I'm at the BreyerFest Artisans Gallery in Kentucky this weekend, with a couple of painted models and my new seahorses. I made a beautiful Lotus hippocampus for the Best Customs contest this year. He wasn't a finalist, but he's still incredibly beautiful, and getting lots of oohs and ahhs at the Artisans Gallery! I also made two cute little lotus seahorse babies out of some classic Arabian foals. Here's a pic of the whole family setup on my table at the Artisans Gallery, along with my original seahorse "Serenity":
I also have my 2022 Best customs finalist "Dreamwhisper", a galloping Appaloosa foal customized from a standing classic Quarter horse stallion! This fellow is the first model I painted using hair-by-hair details over his whole body. He's a neat one!
Another lovely piece I brought to the gallery is this lovely venti-scale "Ardiente" resin, which I painted in a *glowing* dappled bay:
And I brought three older resins I painted, including the Ranchita ranch mare in dappled sooty buckskin, and two lovely (and long discontinued!) resins sculpted by Sarah Rose.
If you're at BreyerFest this weekend, stop by my table at the Artisans Gallery from 7:30-11pm Saturday to check these out!
I'll be posting these to my Etsy shop after the gallery closes tomorrow. Check back then for sales listings!
