I've been a fan of Joseph's Dream Appaloosas on Instagram for several years. They are an Appaloosa horse farm in Namibia, and they have some *beautiful* horses. And a really skilled photographer; they post the most gorgeous photos of their horses and farm!

Last year they started holding an art competition to showcase artwork depicting their gorgeous horses. I entered the contest this year, and I'm honored that one of my digital paintings was chosen as a finalist in this year's Joseph's Dream Appaloosas' 2022 Art Competition!

In this piece I tried to capture a tender moment between mother Fantasia and her foal Dreamwhisper. The bond between mare and foal is surely that of two "Souls Connected", the theme of the contest this year.

I love the beautiful horses at Joseph's Dream, and love all the wonderful photos they share with us of their horses. It was a real joy to paint them!
